1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on dharmabazzar, whether any charges apply, and how refunds are handled after a cancellation. We want cancellations to be simple and transparent.
2. When You Can Cancel
You can cancel your order while it is still in the Pending or Processing stage — that is, before it has been packed and shipped. Once an order has been shipped, out for delivery, or delivered, it can no longer be cancelled; in that case you may use our Refund Policy and return eligible items instead.
3. Cancellation Time Limit
Because we aim to dispatch orders quickly, the window to cancel is limited to the period before dispatch. We recommend cancelling as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order moves to the shipped status, the cancellation option is automatically disabled.
4. How to Cancel an Order
There are two ways to cancel an eligible order:
- Self-service: Log in to your account, go to My Orders, open the order, and click Cancel Order (available only while the order is Pending or Processing).
- Contact us: Reach our support team with your order number and we will cancel it for you if it is still eligible.
If you checked out as a guest, please contact us with your order number to request a cancellation.
5. Cancellation Charges
We do not charge any cancellation fee for orders cancelled before dispatch. Cash on Delivery (COD) orders incur no charge on cancellation since no payment has been collected. Prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch are fully refundable.
6. Refund After Cancellation
For prepaid (online) orders cancelled before dispatch, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method (UPI, Card, Netbanking, or Wallet via Razorpay) and is processed within 7–10 business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. For COD orders, no payment was taken, so no refund is required. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
